The objective of this bachelor thesis is to describe the application of the QRQC method as a tool for a non-conforming production management in Poclain Hydraulics s.r.o. company. The opening part describes selected and commonly used quality tools. The work furthermore continues with a general description of the QRQC method. The main and final part is focused on the analysis of practical use of this method. Benefits of QRQC method in terms of non-conforming production and customer claims are described, based on the data given by the company.

The procedures and a method 8D that were chosen are described in detail. Such as beneficial funds for quality improvement. The method 8D is considered the most effective mode. In order to achieve these objectives is provided minutely delineation of individual steps of the strategy. The main objective of this work is an analysis of a specific example for business practice. Moreover, it elucidates solutions of the 8D complaint report usage.

Implementing SPC in the Production Process

The thesis deals with implementing of statistical process control (SPC) on CNC cut center into the mechanic production. One part of the project is engaged in theoretical information gathering, process monitoring and data collection. Second part deals with stabilization, regulation and improvement of the process using right statistical instruments. As a result is implementing measuring station from where will be the process data transferred to a server and evaluated. On the basis of that is possible to implement a correction in the right time if the process isn´t stabilized. The main objectives of the thesiss are cost reduction, scrap reduction and modernization of the process.

Systematic evaluation of quality of palliative care in the Czech Republic

In both the social work and health sector, there is an increasing emphasis on monitoring and improving the quality of care and services provided. In both areas, quality standards are already established in wider practice and attention is therefore focused on monitoring the quality of services and care at a system level. However, this requires the availability of appropriate tools. This also applies to palliative care, which is developing rapidly in the Czech Republic and whose need will continue to increase as a result of the prolongation of life expectancy. The theoretical part of this dissertation shows, through the example of palliative care, the deeper interconnection of the social and health spheres. It occurs thanks to its holistic approach to the patient and the irreplaceable role of social workers in a multidisciplinary team. There is also a growing demand in palliative care for systematic quality monitoring and improvement of care and services. The theoretical part summarizes knowledge regarding the development and use of quality indicators, presents examples of systematic quality measurement in palliative care abroad and compares their strengths and weaknesses.
